- l love the Kobalt 19 inch single blade mower and prefer it over the twin blade, which l also have, because the mass of the single blade acts like a flywheel and helps in tall grass. Also the twin blade mower does not side shoot. Cordless electric mowing makes sense. I even started a battery powered lawn service and deliver equipment with an electric Mitsubishi. The mower folds so nicely, l carry two, plus a trimmer and all the other 40 volt equipment. Lowes has been awesome about their no hassle warranty. A couple pointers after 2 years experience. 1. always side shoot, 2. cut as high as possible (setting 4 normally, 5 for tall grass) to save energy, 3. make the first pass or two clockwise around the yard and then cut counterclockwise to not recut clippings, 4. sharpen blades daily if possible, easy to do because you just flip the mower with no spills. My blades are sharper than new and cut like butter using much less battery. Happy mowing!
- I don't understand why so many say this looks like a toy and that they like the EGO better. To my eyes the EGO is the one that looks like the toy. This Kobalt looks more like a gas mower does.
- Maybe it is because you were cold but you guys don't seem excited about doing this review compare to other tool reviews.
- I have the 19 inch kobalt with one battery and the battery becomes disengaged while using it. Does this mower have the same problem? I really despise this! If anyone knows how to fix this let me know.
- Great video as always. I love my Ego it's a great mower and now I'm sold on electric. My question is how good is the Ego trimmer vs the Ryobi 40 volt trimmer. Which one is the better built one? Also dose it matter about the 12" cut of the ego or the 15" cut of the ryobi? Dose it matter. Thanks

- good video guys but must say I've never been keen on Kobalt...but they have their place and like you said it would be great for a small city lawn where you need low noise output...

- It does look suspiciously like the greenworks mower. The EGO is cooler but expensive. This one is $100 less!
