- Thanks for this. My 5 year old corded Black and Decker mower is having some issues and I am looking at replacing it with this. My home sits on a 1/4 acre so I have about 7000 sqft of grass to mow. I also have a very uneven backyard because my dogs enjoy digging. My concern is that this is a new product and so there isn't much information available on it yet. But this helps. I do like the sound of it in the video.
- just got mine today. and i love the sound of it. I tested it out on the back yard at night and no problem with the sound. Battery lasts as long as me until i need a break and switch batteries. I almost bought the 56 volt Ego for Home Depot but they didn't have it in store. It was online order only. Went home to do research on the Kobalt 40v and ran across this one. Went to Lowes and grabbed the last one on the shelf along with a $99 Worx 20v Trimmer and Blower combo. It came with a trimmer/edger a blower, 2 batteries and a charger. I'm all set. I will be doing the front yard and completing the backyard in the morning. Your review helped me decide to get this, Thanks. Oh an FYI to anyone else. The Kobalt 80v batteries charge faster than the Worx 20v batteries! that Kobalt kit is awesome.
- I'm curious if the 80v Greenworks batteries will interchange with the Kobalt tools. If you look the tools look pretty much the same except colors. The usual rule is batteries only work with one brand would be nice if this situation was different you might get better prices at times between the two.
- I think I'm definitely picking one up. Plus it takes the same battery as my kobalt 80v chainsaw. Thanks for the vid.
