- I have the same mower and after 50 yrs of mowing I'll never buy another gas mower!!! Easy as pie to use and never have to buy gas. Now unless you have a couple xtra chromosomes the cord is not a problem.
- Dan is on Work-Release program? ???
- I picked up this mower a month ago. Have used it 3-4 times.  I like that it is light so I can handle it with one hand if necessary.  I like that I don't smell like gas and exhaust after mowing.  And it leaves a nice cut.  Cord management is really the only drawback, but if you plan ahead and work your way away from the outlet, it is really not a big deal -- beats dealing with gasoline and oil changes!  However, it may not be a great solution if your yard has lots of trees or other obstacles to work around making cord management a bigger challenge.
- Awesome mower. We are loving this lawnmower. It is a small happy little guy! I love how lightweight it is, every single feature was designed with ease of use in mind.
- Don't underestimate this mower. It was able to easily cut my jungle of a backyard. You get used to the cord. I brought one of these out of curiosity and enjoyed using it more than my gas mower. I can't stand battery powered anything. Too many problems after the batteries begin to age and the cost of replacements are pricey.
- Actually quite painless and reliable due to the uninterrupted power source.  I have had cordless electric lawn mowers before.  At first, the batteries sounded strong and the cutting was smooth except that the lawn mowers were much heavier.  After a few years, the batteries got weaker and weaker, and without an additional quick charge after charging the machine over night with its original power plug, (edited to add -->) the mower just wouldn't mow more than 5 feet.  The trick with the corded machines is to mow away from your house, to avoid tangling with the cord.
- Imagine dragging trying this on dans lot
- I love the electric mowers that you guys are reviewing but I think the plugin mower is a dying breed. If your going to go electric, than the battery version is the way to go. Batteries are are way more reliable than ever before and you don't have to deal with the damn cord.
- Its like a lawn vacuum lol
- i could see a big market for ppl with small yards like subdivisions and town houses. TIA
- At least you don't have to worry about running out of power But then again, if you had a really small yard a battery mower wouldn't have a problem mowing it. It's CHEAPER!
- Even though I will never get a corded mower, but I do agree for someone who has a small yard or live in the city might be a good market. I mean honestly there really dont have much to maintain just plug in and go. I bet the price is very decent on it as well.
Whats that work release stuff all about? Also beware of those 1800 number phone call. Don't try to call back. Your cell company could charge you long distance fee. My wife got random 1800 call before, she called back and tell them to stop calling, they put her on hold..... she hang up! Then end of the month, our phone bill had a $20 something bucks of long distance fee. I called my cell phone company and explained the situation to them. They dropped the fee for us. And put a block on the pacific number for us. You can also simply contact your cell phone provider to block those calls for you. Anyway. Be nice to each other you guys;) where is the friday tool talk 7 btw?
- I could not deal with the cord it would drive me nuts. It would feel like vacuuming your lawn.
- I would not buy this. Lol. Being attached to the wall is no fun. Plug me in!
- Idk why anyone would choose corded when there is battery powered... I used some corded when I was a kid and I always felt like I was gonna hit the cord...
- Dan If you make the caller a contact you can scroll to the bottom and select block caller
- Fun times
- wow i would have chopped that cord into a million pieces in that little bit of time so good job
- I'd send 6 goats out to my yard to chew my grass before I buy a corded lawn mower.
- "Dan's on work release and has to get back"
That's hilarious! I laughed so freakin hard at that, almost lost my drink out my nose...
