Dyskusja o Kobalt 10" 15-Amp Laser Sliding Miter Saw SM2507LW - Real User Review & How To

- Anyone else have this saw and have a problem with the blade arm sticking??
- Hit the nail on the head on the review. I have this saw. The laser is off, but there are three screws on the right side to adjust it a pinch closer but no instructions on what each screw effects. The dust bag is useless. I have a vacuum attached but the direction of the dust is straight back, not up. I made a shield to stop the dust from shooting back so as it hits the shield, the vacuum has a chance to suck it up. Problem is the shield is in the way on certain cuts. I'll have to fabricate a better pickup. Otherwise this saw did fine on building my 16'x22' deck with all pressure treated wood with pieces up to 2"x10". I did buy a mitre stand to mount this saw on to cut the long pieces. Over all, I am happy with the saw.
- Just got one today Im just a diy thanks I liked your vid made me buy one
- Like many others, wish I watched the great video before buying.  Apparently no one at Kobalt pays attention because 2 years after this was originally posted the lazer is still 1/8 or more off and the dust bag is completely useless.  Will likely return it to Lowes and post concerns on Twitter and others sites.
- I have to say one thing. The person presenting says the dust is going all over the place....the zipper on the bag was half open. Look at the bag at 4:24. I am not saying he is wrong, however I would like to see what the saw really collects with the proper use of the saw.

- I have never seen a negative review on this channel. These guys wanna keep the tools they are reviewing.
- I own this saw and I have to said, it not great. Laser guy like the guy said, it off, way off so just turn it off. The dust bag is terrible, the saw dust if blow everywhere. And the blade plastic cover kept stuck all the time when I'm cutting, and now it broken.
I paid $199 for this saw and for that price you might better off buying a Skill much cheaper and better.
- This video is awesome. I love this channel
- On Lowes website under user reviews, there is a guy there "Watt" that tells how he was able to make adjustment to both the cut and the laser to now get perfect cuts. It was listed as the first review. I think I may buy this saw now that I know how to adjust it to get it right on the money. Hope this helps.
- We hear that a lot about a lot of saws. People have their preference in blades and stick with those. We have a guy in the shop the same way, he immediately replaces the blades. Thanks for the comment and being a viewer.
- The blade is a throw away, with a good blade you don't have the problem with cutting through harder wood such as 8 quarter maple. Laser is a waste of time.
- I wish I had looked at this video before getting the saw - it would not have changed my decision to get it - but it would have set the right expectations. Overall, the content of this video is right on the money...right down to the fact that the laser is consistently 1/8" off. This was, in fact, the reason I was searching YouTube to see if there was a way to fix it!
- Greenskiis, You are correct. Lifetime replacement does not apply to power tools. We had to verify that we didn't say something wrong. In the video Dan mentions the no hassle return policy. Their return policy is not to be confused with the length of their warranty. We are sorry if this caused confusion in the video. Thank you for sharing this info.
- Doesn't Kobalt's lifetime replacement warranty apply to their HAND tools? This is the first I've ever heard of it extending to their power tools.
