Dyskusja o Kobalt 1/2" Corded 8.0amp Electric Impact Wrench

-
- Looks very similar to Harbor Freights,  $49.00.
- I recently got one of these so I could replace the rear struts on my car, and let me say I was extremely impressed with the way this thing knocked those big bolts loose quick!!

Of course nothing is perfect.  This Kobalt is kinda massive and difficult to get into a tight squeeze, especially when using a deep socket, but overall I give it a 9.5 - highly recommended considering it's price, quality, and ability.
- Just purchased one with a 10% off coupon.  I used it to change the wheel bearing assembly on my car and it worked great.  It took off the axle nut, four rusted on wheel bearing bolts and lug nuts no problem.  I looked into the Craftsman from Sears but no discount and no impact sockets included.  Plus, I would rather buy from Lowes.  I ordered it from the lowes website and delivery was super fast.
- This was sold the instant you removed the axle nut.
- hey is this jimmy Johnson's cousin?
- That 5th gen lude tho...
- Hell that's about $42 in sockets alone if you bought them separately. Kinda makes it more like a $110 impact gun. Not too shabby.
- looks like a repackaged chicago impact from harbor freight really surprised how it performed lol
- Very nice review!
- for changing rotor you don't take out axle nut :D You only remove caliper from bolts behind it and also that small phillips screw on rotor.
- I normally prefer to shop at Home Depot, but they only had the Milwaukee impact wrench for 169.00. Milwaukee might be good, but it's not the brand I normally pick first. So I drove to Lowes which had the Dewalt impact wrench for 169.00. Normally I prefer the Dewalt brand over the other. They also had the Kobalt for 149.00. After comparing the Dewalt and the Kobalt, the trigger and the feel of the Kobalt was much better for my hands so that's what I ended up with.
- I have one just like this, but its a different name brand, and when I first used it I was like why did'nt I get one of these years ago, its awesome... one short trigger pull is all it takes to remove my lug nuts.. ive also changed struts and various other things using this baby... worth every penny!
- Great review, on my way to get one!
- +dmcguinn12 Very nice Review! I love this impact corded gun and reviewed it a while back myself simply because it beat the competition hands down on the corded side for the money.  Well done, sir.
- Are you sponsored by any brands?
- Great review, just what I was looking for.
- Is that the Lowes torque wrench you used in this? Any good? My 12 year old craftsmen is in need of replacing
- This wrench has the same specs as the craftsman 6903 wrench but with a much better warranty, plus the included sockets. Of lately Sears is giving you less and less for your money.
- Bought this to change out my front struts, rear shocks and springs. I tried doing one side by hand, but my hand started cramping up. Took me about 30 min to get one rusty bolt out in the rear, took this thing 4 seconds. I can also run it off of a relatively small generator for quick tire changes. I highly recommend this electric impact !
