- Why turn the oven to 1000c when aluminium melts at around 700c? Wouldn't 800c give you enough headroom for casting? 1000c will just make the cans/ crucibles melt.

- Hey mate, good video. Cluey for a young bloke. Try looking up green sand casting. Not hard to make and far superior results. Also please invest in a pair of proper boots and ditch the synthetic clothes. If you get spatter it'll burn. Also get some longer welding gloves and a full face shield. Not expensive and will save you a heap if it goes wrong.

- Just so you know aluminuims melting point is only 660 NOT 1000 .
1000 is the melting point of steel just for the future an thats why the bottle in side broke
- Bro you only need it about 700*C to melt aluminium. Your crucible is probably a poor stainless steel alloy which will fail at 1100*C as demonstrated.
